Farquhar – with Peter McLeod’s GT focused book now available it seemed fitting to include not only the clip below for one of the most memorable GT videos “Gangsters of the Flats” but also dates that are currently available on Farquhar for the forthcoming season. Just one of the many GT focused locations that saltwater aficionados will recognise in the book, the Farquhar atoll fishery has remained consistently at the top of its game for many years.
With the Mayas Dugong as a moored base for the week, and with the atoll fishing only 8 weeks in the forthcoming season instead of its normal 25 weeks, all the indicators are pointing to it being a short but very fruitful season. 
Peter first fished the atoll in 2009 and it has remained a firm favourite as a saltwater destination, seeing him return most years since then. With Peter travelling back to Providence in March next year, April 2017 will see Charlotte flying down to Farquhar for the first time to experience Farquhar first hand and primed for an encounter or several with Farquhar’s unique species, the bumphead parrotfish as well as the normal host of triggerfish, bonefish, GTs and Bluefin trevally.
