The Rosweood Luxury Resort & Spa, Bermuda

Experience fly fishing in Bermuda

The Rosewood Luxury Resort is set on the stunning coastline of Castle Harbour and enjoys gorgeous pink sand beaches, superb golf and an all round Bermudian style and character. The local fishing guides have over 30 years’ experience fly fishing in the crystal clear Caribbean waters.

Bermuda’s premier fly fishing destination

Anglers can be collected by skiff from the dock at Tucker’s Point, just a short transfer from the hotel, and spend the day on the water with Bermuda’s only fully fledged flats guide. Your guide has over 30 years’ fishing experience and will give you a truly Bermudian day around the clear blue waters of the island on ‘Jump Dem Bones’, a custom built 18ft Dolphin Skiff. Bonefish can be caught year round and are generally spotted tailing in the sandy bays. Size-wise, they tend to range from six to 12lb. Between May and October you will also find jacks, barracuda, snapper and tarpon cruising the waters. Tackle is provided but if you want to take your own, then you can also wade any of the island’s public beaches.

Placing an emphasis on luxury

With its 91 rooms and suites, Rosewood Bermuda is an intimate retreat with access to the largest private pink-sand beach on the island. The accommodation is luxuriously appointed with fine linen and large bathrooms. The resort is home to a superb golf course, two swimming pools, seven restaurants and a lovely spa. Guests have access to Tucker’s Point Beach club which is set on the pristine private beach and includes a charming ocean front restaurant and two swimming pools – it’s a great place to relax in the sunshine for the day. There are tennis courts, a water sports club and an excellent kids’ club operates between May and October.

“Caught my largest bonefish on the flats ever at 30 inches, had cracks at tarpon and all while on my honeymoon.” A.R. Stockbridge

Overlooking turquoise seas
