Soul Fly Lodge, The Berry Islands, Bahamas
A multi species haven
Anglers at Soul Fly lodge can expect a beautiful fishery with great opportunities to target bonefish, permit, triggerfish, mutton snapper, barracuda and more. Short runs combined with options to fish from the boat or focus on wading ensure that you days can be tailored exactly as you please.
Dynamic fishing in a variety of water
The Berry Islands fishery offers dynamic fishing with everything from wadeable white sand flats, lush turtle grass and ocean edges, to thick mangroves and back country creeks. Bonefish here range from the two to ten pound mark with the average around three to four pounds. They are most commonly seen in groups rather than singles and doubles. The guide team have been chasing permit for years and are well prepared to put anglers into the best positions to catch one of these challenging but rewarding fish. Wily, hard fighting trigger fish cruise the waters too and watching this quarry on your fly is sure to set the pulse racing. Actually landing one is another matter altogether as they are experts at diving into cover. The fishing is from new purpose built skiffs and the guides are all experts in their craft.
