Overnight river camping and fishing, Montana
Explore Montana’s most productive trout rivers
These overnight river camping trips allow anglers to combine both floating and wading while exploring some of Montana’s most productive trout rivers.
Maximise your day on the river
Camping alongside the legendary rivers of southwest Montana, fishermen can maximise their time on the water. Days are spent floating or wading the rivers, while early morning and evening sessions are enjoyed from where ever the camp is set for the night. Most of the camps are float in only, on river islands, while others area accessed by 4 wheel drive on private ranches depending on river conditions. Everything except a fishing license is included, with flies, camping gear, food and even fly rods (if needed) taken care of. Trips lengths are flexible and can last two days with one night camping to five days with four nights camping. Longer trips can be explored on the Ultimate Road Trip where multiple fisheries are visited on the same adventure.
Fully serviced camping
Anglers are accommodated in sturdy tents complete with heavy duty sleeping pads, cots, sleeping bags, tables, chairs toilets, grills lanterns and coolers etc. You might find yourself eating better on the river than you do at home. Dinners include appetizers, fresh salads, tasty sides, grilled salmon, rib eye steaks or rack of lamb. Delicious deserts await those who have room. A generous selection of beer and wine is provided in camp each morning. Hot breakfasts include French toast, omelettes and more.
