COMO Maalifushi, Maldives

This luxury resort is to the far southwest of Malé and the only one on the pristine Thaa Atoll. It has a classic, elegant feel and is a perfect spot to enjoy some of the very best the Maldives has to offer. 

A beautiful spot to enjoy a range of activities  

The superb dive and watersports centre offers a range of activities including snorkelling, diving, sailing and sunset cruises. The spa provides a range of Asian-inspired therapies including signature massages, facials and reflexology. There’s a nearby local island which can be reached by kayak which makes for a fun expedition. There are three restaurants and a fun bar. Families travelling with younger children will find an excellent kids’ club with all sorts to entertain youngsters.

A mix of lovely overwater and beach villas  

COMO Maalifushi features a mix of 65 land and overwater suites and villas. There are one-and two-bedroom properties and larger groups can choose to stay in the COMO Residence, a two-storey four-bedroom house complete with its own kitchen. The décor throughout is light and airy. Overwater villas are built off wooden walkways and each has a pool and private terrace with steps down into the sea. Garden rooms are spread through the lush tropical gardens and the Beach suites are strung along the white sands and have direct access to the sea.

COMO Maalifushi is the first, and only, resort on the Thaa Atoll and is reached via a 60-minute sea plane ride from Malé.  With little else in the area resort-wise this property benefits from a lovely feeling of unspoilt of remoteness.
