Carana Beach is a contemporary boutique hotel on the north east coast of Mahé. Forty stylish chalets overlook a picturesque beach framed by granite boulders.

A great mix of activities and relaxation

The hotel offers a whole host of activities to its guests, from hiking and diving to sunset picnics and surfing. There’s also a good spa featuring a range of treatments. The infinity pool is a super spot to relax and the sandy, secluded beach is very beautiful. As the beach is not protected by a reef, the waves can get a little large at certain times of the year. It is, however, only a few miles from Beau Vallon which is Mahé’s longest beach and offers great swimming. The Lorizon restaurant delivers freshly cooked fare including Seychellois favourites like octopus and crab salad. The lively Carana Beach Bar offers all day dining along with a good cocktail list.

Chic sea view accommodation

Accommodation comprises 28 ocean view chalets and 12 ocean view pool chalets. The stylishly decorated and furnished rooms are well screened from each other and have lovely ocean views. All of the rooms have air-conditioning, TV, coffee machine, a fridge, en-suite bathrooms and a private terrace with sun loungers.
