The first part of our 2014/2015 Cosmoledo live aboard season has just come to an end and once again the GT figures have been astounding. Over the 4 week period 1012 GT’s were landed between the 40 lucky anglers who ventured out on the 4 trips. Not only was the amount of fish astounding but so were the sizes of these fly caught monsters. The tally of 1 meter plus GT’s reads as follows: 1 x 100cm; 2 x 101 cm; 2 x 103cm; 2 x 105 cm; 1 x 106 cm; 1 x 108 cm; 1 x 113 cm; 1 x 115 cm; 1 x 119 cm; 2 x 118 cm, 2 x 123 cm and 1 x 126cm. The amount of other species like big Bonefish, Permit, Triggerfish and Milkfish were equally impressive and is synonymous with the remote untouched ecosystems like Cosmoledo and Astove.
