Here’s recent report from the lodge:
“April and May were very good months in Crooked with more and more tarpons in the inner lagoon and even on some of the flats! Some clients hooked and lost really big boys 100 pounds+ fish, they lost them because we were not expected to find this size of fish in the lagoon.
The permit fishing was good again and two fishermen managed to land 3 permits way other 20 pounds in one day, when two more clients landed their first permit for their first trip in saltwater. The bonefishing was amazing in April and in may when the water warm up the fishing was better in the morning even if all the ocean flats were good all day long with bones and triggers in very good number and good sizes with many bonefish between 6 and 9 pounds. Barracudas, sharks, jacks and snappers gave us also some really good actions!”
