Another great fishing week came to an end at Estancia Maria Behety Lodge and it was the best so far.
Guiding week 5 just finished at Estancia Maria Behety Lodge. It was a good week, tough weather conditions but we all worked hard to catch some fish. We had the visit of some old friends that have been fishing with us for the last 15 years and some new guests.
104 fish landed, 15 fish over 15 pounds and 4 over 20 pounds.
Craig Laurie landed the fish of the week: 22 pounds.
Water color and visibility during the week at Estancia Maria Behety Lodge: Clear and low until Tuesday. After a thunder storm on Monday afternoon water came up a few inches and got really dirty. On Wednesday water color started to clear up.
Water temperature: 8° C and 17° C
Water level and amount of increase or decrease through the week: Water level came up Tuesday 2-3 inches.
Wind speed ranges through the week: It was windy this week. 0 to 50 kmh. Mostly north wind.
Air temperature ranges through the week: 8°C to 22°C

Green machine and sunray shadow worked well on floating and intermediate tips.
Only big flies for a couple of days due the color of the water.
