In response to the recent US position on enhanced flight security, the Department for Transport has announced new security checks on unnamed routes “into or out of the UK”.
Essentially, if you can’t turn on an electronic device for security checks, it may not be allowed on the flight at all. So it’s absolutely crucial that all your phones, tablets, laptops and other gadgets are charged before you travel.
In addition, as with all new security checks, you should allow more time in your journey to account for potential delays.
If you have any questions about changes to flight security, please give us a call and we’ll make sure you have all the latest available information.
