Here’s our 2025 hosted trip schedule:
Providence Atoll, Seychelles with Peter McLeod
Dates: 11th to 18th March 2025
Peter McLeod has hosted six trips to this extraordinary fishery. It regularly tops his list of ‘best saltwater fishing destinations’ and he’s looking forward to leading another trip in March 2025. Large portions of this remote speck in the Indian Ocean remain unexplored. Among the myriad saltwater species here are metre long GTs, large permit, trevally, bonefish, and bumphead parrot fish. It is a real bucket list trip for the adventurous saltwater angler.
Tapam Lodge, Nicaragua with Alex Jardine
Dates: 27th April to 6th May 2025
Alex Jardine will be leading a hosted group in search of the jungle giants of Tapam in Nicaragua. The tarpon focused destination closed in 2020 due to Covid travel restrictions, and will return for its first full season in 2025. With much of the fishing done in the rivers, canals and jungle lagoons, there are miles upon miles of fishable water. It is these water courses where tarpon from 10 to 200lb search out schools of baitfish, with frenzied bait-busting or gracious rolling through flat waters that show you are in the right location.
Winsnes Lodge, Norway with Alex Jardine
Dates: 29th June to 6th July 2025
Alex Jardine will be leading a hosted group to one of Norway’s most famous and productive salmon rivers, the River Gaula for a prime week in 2025. Based from the delightful family-run Winsnes Lodge, the group will have access to 4km of prime double bank fishing on the middle river. With full-time guiding, this is a great week to find out what makes Norwegian salmon fishing so special.
Skeena River Lodge, BC, Canada with Brett O’Connor
Dates: 5th to 12th July 2025
Join Brett O’Connor on this prime week fishing at Skeena River Lodge for chrome chinook – the largest salmon in the world – on the Skeena, Kitimat, Copper and Kalum Rivers in British Columbia. Angler’s can reasonably expect two to three fish per day, with the chance of plenty more depending on the size of the run. Chums and pinks will be starting to arrive at this time as well so it’s an incredible opportunity to target very fresh fish, guaranteed to put up a spectacular fight.
Laxa I Kjos, Iceland with Peter McLeod and Olly Thompson
Dates: 26th to 29th July / 29th July to 2nd August 2025
Peter McLeod and Olly Thompson will be returning to Iceland’s famous Laxa I Kjos river in late July/early August 2025. This intimate river can turn even the most passionate of trout anglers into a devout salmon hunter. Its fast pockets, alluring canyons and sweeping meadows create a fishing paradise. Using a single handed 7# to flick out a size 16 hitched Red Frances to a pod of silver fish on the Laxá I Kjos is something truly special. The water is so clear it is often possible to see the fish in the river, see their behaviour towards the fly, and often the moment the fish commits to taking it.
Bosnia with Phil Ratcliffe
Dates: 4th to 11th October 2025
The Bosnian rivers are alive with grayling, brown & rainbow trout that throughout the summer months feed freely on the surface on the many upwing insects that hatch on the rivers. Rivers such as the Pliva, Ribnik and Sanica offer crystal clear chalkstream-like water where the fish are easily seen although they can scrutinise each fly offered to them. These are exciting dry fly waters where you can target fish for long periods of time whilst trying the beautifully made local fly patterns.
Alphonse Island, Seychelles with Charlotte Chilcott
Dates: 15th to 22nd November 2025
Charlotte will be returning for her regular trip to Alphonse Island in November 2025. This wonderful fishery continues to be super consistent – both in terms of the angling and the operation itself. With the addition of the popular bluewater fishing, it is possible to target pelagic species on the fly as well as the plethora of species found on the flats of both St Francois Atoll and Alphonse Island.
Jardines de la Reina, Cuba with Alex Jardine
Dates: 22nd to 29th November 2025
Alex Jardine will be leading a hosted group to the expansive saltwater flats of Jardines de la Reina in Cuba in search of bonefish, permit and tarpon. The extensive flats and mangroves provide the perfect habitat for all flats species to flourish, making it one our most prolific grand slam destinations. The trip will be aboard the exclusive liveaboard vessel, Jardines Avalon Fleet II.
