Combining heli-skiing and fly fishing in one Icelandic adventure is the latest, fabulous, one-off experience our friends at Eleven have put together. Based at Deplar Farm in the Troll Peninsula, this Ski-to-Sea Experience will have guests skiing velvety corn snow down 3,000-foot vertical runs, and fishing for sea-run brown trout in the legendary Huséyjarkvisl River. Here’s what you can expect:

Heli-ski the Troll Peninsula

On the edge of the Arctic Circle, ski with expert guides from mountain peak to shoreline over Iceland’s remote, treeless terrain.

Fish the Huséyjarkvisl

Recharge at the Air-Stream base camp

Between adventures, unwind at the private, riverside Airstream base camp. These heated campers give you a spot to change gear, enjoy lunch, and recharge for what’s next.

The Lodge

Deplar Farm was named one of the “Best Hotels in the World” on Condé Nast Traveller’s Gold List. Two on-property helipads stand ready to take you up to the peaks or out to the river in minutes. At day’s end, relax in the indoor/outdoor geothermally heated pool or Viking sauna, take a dip in our cold plunge, and enjoy a chef-prepared Icelandic dinner.
