Kentchurch Shoot
Varied partridge and pheasant shooting
Set on the English/Welsh border in Herefordshire, Kentchurch is a 5,000-acre estate with wonderfully varied landscape and topography.
Classic shoot offering an enjoyable challenge
The shooting here is well established with drives spread throughout the rolling hills, woodland and parkland. There is something for everyone, with some drives showing the highest birds in the area. As the leaves come off the trees, guns venture into the woodland for fun and challenging shooting standing on woodland drives. Kentchurch offers both pheasant and partridge and has dedicated drives for each. The shoot can show days from 250+.
Quality shooting in a lovely environment
Guns have the option to stay fully catered in the main house, Kentchurch Court, which offers a very hospitable setting for shooting parties. There is also the option of staying at one of a number of good local hotels. The usual plan for the day is to meet at The Bridge Inn to have coffee, draw pegs before heading off onto the first drive at 09.30. Lunch is back at The Bridge Inn followed by a drive or two before tea and saying goodbyes to the team and keeper.
Easy access
Kentchurch is around 15 miles from the end of the M50 and approximately 12 miles from the A40.
