Aardvark McLeod and Fishing for Forces

For the last two years we have been an integral part of taking wounded soldiers from Tedworth House recovery centre fishing. What began as a help in hand for Help for Heroes has now evolved into a structured program in conjunction with Fishing for Forces and the Salisbury and District Angling Club. Last week we presented them with their own tackle.

This summer we have organised four days with the Salisbury and District Angling Club and three further days so far. Both fly and coarse fishing with our first on the 2nd of May in time for Mayfly.

Thursday 23rd May - SADAC, Rattfyn Lake with Tedworth House (fly fishing)
Thursday 27th June - SADAC, Petersfinger Lake with Tedworth House (coarse fishing)
Thursday 15th August - SADAC, Petersfinger Lake with Tedworth House (coarse fishing)
Thursday 26th September - SADAC, Petersfinger Lake with Tedworth House (coarse fishing)

Additional days have been arranged as follows:
Thursday 2nd May - Fly fishing on the River Avon
Thursday 27th June - fishing courtesy of the RAF
September (date to be confirmed) - fishing courtesy of the John Lewis Partnerhip at Chilbolton
