Sunday saw the first episode of the seventh series of BBC Two’s Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing. This charming, comic programme sees the two fish together while musing on life’s big questions in a series of stunning locations.

BBC2's Gone fishing

Targeting tench in Norfolk was last night’s delight, to be followed by salmon in Northern Ireland next week. Further locations include Derbyshire, Newark and Bedfordshire before the series winds up on the River Frome on the hunt for giant grayling.

It’s light hearted magic, perfect for a Sunday night.

If you spot anywhere during the series you’d like to fish, give us a call on +44 (0)1980 847389 or email and we’d be delighted to plan something for you.
